Idea:

An impression capturing the entropic structure of memory.

Process:

I choose an object and make an imprint of it in plaster. Then, I take a sheet of damp paper and place it on top of the imprint before pressing and rubbing it into the plaster cast, making the paper take on its shape. With each rubbing the plaster cast get worn down, making each rubbing a unique version of the cast, as well as each action of creation a part of the casts destruction. In the end the cast is thrown away and not shown.
